Hello to all! I have found the same problem I have that someone posted in 2003, but couldn't see any replies - sorry if this is a 500th time this topic is being covered!
I have (out of sheer stupidity) activated Microsoft FrontPage from my site and it opened tons of its own folders and doubled all of my files in them. I have deleted these and disabled Web Publishing from my service provider, but I can't delete the remaining folders: _private; _vti_bin (with subfolders _vti_adm & _vti_aut), _vti_cnf, _vti_log, _vti_pvt and _vti_txt.
However I try to delete them I keep getting the message: 'directory is not empty', can't 'view' the content, and clicking on them doesn't help either, nothing is displayed. The options "[-a] Show Hidden Files" and "[-L] Resolve Links" are enabled in my Tools.
Please help me get rid of these (and next time I do Microsoft Anything feel free to disregard me completely
