how to extract a .RAR file in SmartFTP? i mean in a ftp folder? can anyone pls kindly help and tell me how? thx!!

you don't. if the archive is already uploaded to the ftp server, you cannot use smartftp to extract it. connect to the server via telnet / ssh instead and extract the archive from command line.
