problem -- limit on output displayed

Hi,

I have a large directory site and SmartFTP is displaying a message:

'Output truncated to 2000 matches'

...thus a lot of my files are not showing.

Consequently, I have no way to know if files are there or if new files are uploading.

How can I remove this limit so that all my files display?

Thanks,

Rob

Server issue, make subdirectories and move some files to them.

Hi,

Thanks very much for such a swift reply. I want to retain this flat directory if possible for specific reasons I won't go into here.

I'm not sure if this is server-related, because the files are there in the directory on the server, they display correctly in a browser etc, it's just in SmartFTP that the display of the files is truncated.

Do you still think it's a server issue?

Thanks,

Rob

Because i connect to: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles and i see 2731 files and no error message.

BTW this "issue" has ben reportered more times, but it's because server configuration to skip cpu ussage or DoS.

OK, thanks for the help.

I logged on to the same URL and got the same result, so it must be a server issue.

I'll contact their support.

Thanks again,

Rob
