Are you saying that one page works and shows up but the other page doesn't - a 404 error?
You have your key folder (public_html for example) and then you have different pages off that... your first page is usually your index page eg. index.html and then you make other pages and save them as well eg. contact.html and save those pages into the same web folder as your index page.
eg. www.mydomain.com/index.html
www.mydomain.com/contact.html etc...
