Even though the developerteam writes that Backup crashes under OS Windows 9x are history after version 1.4.2 is still happens for me under OS Windows 98SE through version 1.4.5 and 1.4.6.
Every time I try to include registry settings in the backup I get an "Fatal error - Program closing".
It creates a file under "Data-library" called "settings.reg" but does not create an backup fil.
If registry settings is excluded - an backup file is created which is an compressed file including: Custom.dat, favorites.dat, folders.dat, history.dat, queue.dat and settings.ini. But of course no registry data.
It seems to have problems dealing with registry.
Has any body els experienced the same problems?
System configurations are as following - if it helps:

I don't know (proberly caused by some Microsoft update to IE).
But the problem was the same under Backup Tool version 1.4.5, where the file was:
shlwapi.dll : 6.00.2800.1552
