Why no files in my local browser window?

When I connect to the server, I see directories and files in the remote window - but in the local window, I only see directories.

Why does SmartFTP not display my local files - I assume there is some kind of option that I haven't turned on - but I can't find it.

Use Control+L to have a full local browser.

Thanks

But now I have a local browser, split into 2 windows - and a remote browser split into 2 windows - giving me a very confusing looking 4 windows.

Is there any way to just have a simple full display of local folders and files in a single left window - and a single right window for remote files and folders.

I just want it to look the same as every other FTP program I've used.

why do you want to use a local file view within smartftp at all? simply open a windows explorer and drag & drop files between the windows (point to the target window in the task bar if it's in the background).

Thank very much for the "Control L" tip. I was going crazy trying to find local files.
