I try to upload my site to my new server. First it seems to go fine but after a short while it stops and the "Server timeout". It seems as the server - or what it is - doesn't "like" some files but the files that stop the upload are different from time to time.
I have tested to shut down the Firewall but no difference. When I put SmartFTP to Passive Mode it seems to work a little better but not much.
I have a home network with a Netgear DG834 router but this piece have a built in firewall that has port 21 default open for FTP, the port that SmartFTP seems to use. I have another computer to connected to the router and that computer have similiar problems to upload files. I have earlier have other internet servers for my websites and I havent experienced any of the problems above with those.
Any idea what to do?
