why does it want to connect on port 22?

Hi,

Trying to connect (for the first time) from work to my FTP server at home, I sometimes experience problems to acceed some repertories.

SmartFTP succeeds in connecting to the server through port 21. OK...

Trying to open directories, it happens (not each time) that SmartFTP wants to go through port 22. I thought ports concerned by FTP were 21 and 20, not 22.

Is there a way to force SmartFTP going through port 20, not 22? Or shall I open my port 22? I have tried this in the connection settings:

- checked Limit Local port range: min.20; max.21
- checked Force Server IP for PASV mode.

I have also tried to toggle PORT IP Mode on "manual", with "20" or my PC IP "192.168.xxx.xxx.0.20" as a value. Same problem.

My configuration:

DSL -> ROUTER DLink DI-604 -> PC with FileZilla Server.

On my router, ports 20 and 21 are open for FTP and lead to the IP of my PC. Port 22 is not opened yet.

I have a dynamic IP so I have opened a DYNDNS account to make it "static"...

I think my router configuration is "ok" but I'm not a specialist...

Any help would be welcome!!!

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

jch
