This is not a real "problem". You've got to know the server etc. you want to connect to yourself. If you download a web-browser, do you complain that you don't know any web-site to use it with? Probably not. It's just the same with FTP servers. Get them from links on web-sites, tips from newsgroups or try some of the serves which come in the default favorites with SmartFTP.
