According to the knowledge database, the "SITE command not implimented" implies that I cannot change the permissions on an uploaded file because the server doesn't support the SITE command. This is all well and good. However, the page and picture that I uploaded to my website are working none the better because of this explanation. If I cannot change the permissions after the upload, is there any way to make it so that SmartFTP does not automatically set them at 440 upon the upload of a new file? This was my first time using SmartFTP to upload things to my webspace, and I would like to continue to do so, but I need to have the file permissions at 444. Thanks to anyone who can help.
