Internal Error 2753 on installation

I recently tried to install the latest version of SmartFTP and am getting an "Internal Error 2753. SmartFTP.exe" error message, which is indicating that the uninstall of the previous version did not work (which makes sense, as the system was unable to find the .msi file to do the uninstall).

Anyone know where I might find the files I need to delete to complete the uninstall? Or what their names are?

SmartFTP by default installs to %ProgramFiles%SmartFTP, where %ProgramFiles% = "C:Program Files" on English systems. Anyway, I doubt manually deleting the files / directory will solve your problem, there are more likely some left-overs in the registry that do the harm. Try to download the NSI installer from my footer which works much better (and is smaller) than the MSI installer.
