ftp and site errors

Hi,

I am having problems with my sites. When i try to access them i get this:

Not Found
The requested URL /suspended.page/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Also, when i try to log into my ftp it has the 503 error. I have double checked the username/pass/ftp address and they are correct but it still wont log me in. Is the above error message to do with the ftp?

the first error message (error 404) is not directly related to ftp, as it is an http error message. but one may conclude from the error message that your webspace-account has been cancelled by your provider. this also may include your ftp-account (as it makes no sense to cancel the webspace-account but keep the ftp-account).
on the other hand, if your ftp-account really had been cancelled, i'd expect another error message than "503 Bad sequence of commands". have you tried both active / passive mode to access the server?
