Upgraded to XP Pro, now I get timed out of my connection.

I recently upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro. Ever since then, I can't connect to my FTP site. Actually it tells me I'm connected and the speed, and it tells me it's logging in. Then, I get the message 'connection timed out' 'no response from server'.

I can go into the command line and ping the server with no problem.
