Cannot login in to scholar

hey people,
This is the second time i've used this program, i used this program at Uni and i was able to login in to scholar, but i've downloaded this on my PC at home and i can't login in to scholar. Everytime i try to login it says Unknown error, Connection closed.
Does anybody know what's going wrong.
