bytes received.... and pauses!

some websites that I connect to smartftp pauses here:

978 bytes received successfully. (978 B/s) (00:00:01).

it then doesnt do anything until it timeouts! this has never happened with these websites before, I have tried repairing and reinstalling smartftp but to no effect!

help?

Try to disable -aL at Tools->Settings->Transfer->Directory Listing Options.
Also, you can try to change pasv with port at Tools->Settings->Connection->Data Connection

still not working! i also cannot connect to the same sites with a different ftp client (I tried ws_ftp_pro) but still the same pause after the bytes have been received! maybe its an internal problem? I have turned off my antivirus and firewall but still no success...
