how do i back up my site?

i need to back up my entire site before friday. can someone help me? it shouldn't be that hard, right?

Start SmartFTP, logon to your site, select all your files/folders (Ctrl-A) and then either drag them to a folder on your HD or right click and select copy (Ctrl-c) and then paste the files in a folder your desire on your HD. If you have any databases, you will probably have to back them up elsewhere, like in an admin control panel.
