Im sorry but you provided unsufficient information for a bug report.

Does the drag&drop operation work from a remote window to a localbrowser window inside SmartFTP? Or is the problem only with drag&drop a remote window to the Windows Desktop or the Windows Explorer?

Regards,
-Mat

I also have drag and drop-to-desktop fail. DND to the localbrowser window works fine, though.

Using 1.0.981 on XP home.

The FAQ on drag-and-drop to Windows explorer says it may be fixed by uninstalling, rebooting, and then reinstalling. I tried that and still it does not work. I ran MS Depends on the EXE and the smarthook.dll was not listed. Does this mean something?

Thanks for a good product.

KSH

I also upgraded to 1.0.981 on Windows XP and I am now experiencing the same problem.

I cannot drag and drop a file from a remote window to the filelist panel of a localbrowser window inside SmartFTP. If I drop the file in a folder name on the filefolder panel of a localbrowser window inside SmartFTP the file will transfer.

I can, however, drag and drop from a localbrowser window to a remote window inside SmartFTP
