I just bought a domain from godaddy and purchased hosting from hostgator.
I downloaded wordpress installer but I can't take any next steps. My website is a compltely blank white page and even my admin is a completely blank white page. I've been searching for hours on how to fix this and many people say I need to connect to smartftp and edit my wp-config but I downloaded smartftp and it doesn't connect to my site, below is the message I get when I enter my website AND ip address.

I have even disabled my firewall settings yet it still isn't working, any idea on what to do?
