Preventing folder scan

When I start a connection, there is what seems to be a deep scan of each item in both the local and remote folders.
In my case, they contains large video files, and the scan lasts forever, especially in the local folder with a progess bar in it that goes up very very slowly.
Is there a way to prevent such a scan? I don't need any preview, just the size and date information for each file.

The behavior in SmartFTP should be the same as in the Windows File Explorer. You have to be more specific of what you mean with a deep scan. Please contact support: menu: File - Help - Request Support
