Trouble uploading

Hi i am at the moment using the free trial to see if SmartFTP works with Windows 8.1 but i found it has the same problems as other FTP programs and i am hoping you have a fix, i believe the actual problem is with Windows 8.1 but when i try to upload to my websaite it hangs and ultimately fails to upload, i have done some investigations and found that Win dows 8.1 Winilet is at fault is there a work around for this in SmartFtp ?

The problem you are seeing is most likely not related to Windows or SmartFTP.

The problem i am seeing is due to Windows 8.1 Winilet, i have found the only way to fix it is to use a VPN time uploading, you may want to do a Google search and you will see it effects lots of people who are using FTP programs.
