I've set NetBeans as my default editor for several file extensions:
.htm;.php;.html;.js;.css;.bk;.mod;.htaccess;.tpl;.xml
I can edit any file extension, but when it comes to .php precisely, it won't edit no matter what!!
I tried changing editor to Notepad++, regular notepad and built-in editor, but nothing edits .php files, on multiple servers (I have 23 websites, it's a SmartFTP problem, managed to edit it with FileZilla)
What happens exactly:
With .php files
1 - I do a right click on the file I want to edit
2 - Click on Edit
3 - Nothing Happens
With .html/.js/.css and every other extension
1 - I do a right click on the file I want to edit
2 - Click on Edit
3 - It downloads the file and opens NetBeans editor
Anyone got any clues what might be happening?
