I need to migrate a Joomla installation from one hosting account to another and the account does not allow me to tar the files first. They mention some FTP clients have an option to preserve the unix/linux file permissions like 775, etc. Can SmartFTP preserve file permissions when I have to move the files from the hosting company to my local Windows machine and then from there back to another account with the hosting company? Thank you!
