SmartFTP keeps picking up a mis-typed remote host

I originally mis-typed a host name, that is close to the correct host name. Now every time I type the correct host name, it replaces it with the incorrect one and I can't connect. I have cleared the history. Closed and re-started SFTP. But still it picks up incorrect host name.
Using 4.0.1

Any suggestions?

menu: File: New->Connection. Enter the username/password and host. Press OK to connect.
