SmartFTP connection problem

I'm trying to access my server, I tried a few times and it connected but I had the wrong password, the log would get up to the stage where it asks for password and then says it is incorrect.

After a few times when I get the password right I get this:

After this once I try to connect to the HTTP side of the website on Firefox I cannot connect, with the error "The Connection has timed out". How can I prevent this, since it's not letting me log in now.

The server might have temporary blocked your IP address due to the number of failed login attempts.
