Have internal editor treat .module files as .php

I have a drupal website, which uses .module file extensions to store php code.

When I edit the files in the SmartFTP editor, the code is parsed as text, not code. Is there a way to have my editor treat these files as php code?

Go to the menu: Tools->Settings
Go to the Text Editor->Styles dialog
Add module to the User File input field.
