Can connect to server from LAN but not WAN

SmartFTP Pro 4.01072
Unable to connect to my ftp server from WAN although can connect from LAN. I am able to connect to the server from WAN using other clients such as AndFTP for the droid but I can't get SmartFTP to work. I have included the log file...

Is there some setting I need to adjust on the SmartFTP client...BTW I have doubled checked the port forwarding on the router and Port 55563 is open and forwarded to the local IP address of the server....and as I said at the beginning of the post I am able to connect using other FTP clients...

Thanks!

Server returns LAN IP istead of WAN ip in PASV reply. To workaround the problem go to the Favorite Properties in SmartFTP. Then go to the FTP->Connection dialog and set the "Force PASV IP" option to Enable.

Any other ideas? Why is it that some FTP clients are able to connect and not SmartFTP? Don't they all utilize the same handshake protocol?

I purchased SmartFTP Pro License one year ago and NEVER utilized tech support even once....and you are asking me to fork out another $50.00? Excuse me but this is really excessive...

There is a reduced fee for the renewal. Check the options in the license manager (url above).
