Can SmartFTP run as a service?

I successfully setup a transfer that automatically moves files from the remote folder to the local folder. However, if I log out of the server SmartFTP shuts down. Is there a way to run it as a service?

If not, can I easily make this same transfer happen via command prompt?

Thanks Mat. That was what I was looking for. Only problem is that I can't restart that server right now. Also, when I log off of my Remote Desktop connection it still shuts it down. Or at least it appears that it does. Am I missing something?

Are you using Windows 2008?

On Windows 2003 you need to create a new user. Then configure SmartFTP under this user account and run the task under the same account.
