unable to transfer files or edit

Hi SmartFTP

I'm in a bit of a pickle - I need urgent help with smartFTP, all of a sudden it's given up on me when I try to transfer a file. Each time this happens it comes up "retry at: " in the transfer queue, and I've no idea why. This started happening this afternoon, so I tried to upgrade but no luck.

I'm bang in the middle of an urgent project, if this can't be resolved asap I'll need to download a new client package to get on with my work.

Can anyone assist? I feel helpless, and nothing changed to seem to make this happen.

Please double click the file in the transfer queue. A log window opens. Then post the log here.

From what version were you upgrading to?

It seems this may be the case with my edition, as I am receiving a "Maintenance Expiration" message with my copy.

Can someone please respond to this asap - I need clarification of the situation and to be honest will be mighty disappointed if this has impacted on the product.

I've recommended smartftp to many, many users I would be very surprised if this issue is the case.

this happens when i try to edit a file:

and when I try to transfer a file:

[14:16:33] 550 Can't check for file existence

hey guys

look this is seriously urgent now - can someone advise me if i were to purchase the new renewal or whatever will i get instant support or a new release or something?

i don't wish to move away from smartftp but at the moment transferring my files is a priority.

please forgive me for sounding urgent, especially so if this all turns out to be user error, but i feel at the mercy of a third party and my deadline is ticking.

553-Can't open that file: Permission denied
