I've seen other posts about this, but have not found a solution. I have tried switching to either Passive Mode (PASV) and Active Mode (PORT) and it did not make a difference. After this problem, I updated to the newest version. Problem still occurs. I believe nothing else has recently changed with me setup.

Are you sure you want to login with anonymous to the server? If not go to the menu: File->New Remote Browser. Then enter your username,password and host name and press OK to connect.

Yes. 'anonymous' is how one usually logs in to this particular server.

It seems (from the log) that your server does not let you in with anonymous.

From the servers FAQ on archive.org:

Can I log into an FTP server to download concerts?

Yes, you can log into iaXX.us.archive.org (where XX is a number), with the username anonymous and use your email address as the password. Each recording's details page will have a link for FTP that will tell you which number server the show is on, and in which directory.

If the issue was the server not allowing anonymous log in, then why do I get the message "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine."?

Apparently the server does not accept anonymous connections:
