Hi
I have proplem with logging into my web it allways say that the password is hidden but my id name is ok
and the number for the failis ;530 Login authentication failed

Please contact your web hosting provider. They can give you a new password. Once you have this information go to the menu: File->New Remote Browser in SmartFTP. Enter all the information and press OK.

I'm having the same problem, and that didn't work for me. My web hosting provider can sign in just fine with my username and password, but it won't connect for me still. I'm using a Mac OSX with Leopard 10.5.7. Any idea what might be wrong?

You have the wrong username/password or there is a problem on the server side.
