I recently installed SmartFtp as a method to upload files to my server, however I have not been sucessful in uploading one file. When dragged and droped into the upload section, the window saying "Searching for existing files and folders to find possible conflicts" pops up. This window does not however go away, I've left it up for hours at a time to see if it would cause it to budge, but it had no effect. If I click automatic at the bottem of the window, it disapears instantly and my file is moved to the tranfer queue. However when it gets into here it constantly times out, and does not connect. The error being this:
[23:06:59] Resolving host name "*************"
[23:06:59] Connecting to ************* Port: *******
[23:06:59] Connected to ***************.
[23:08:02] Timeout (63s).
[23:08:02] Active Help: https://www.smartftp.com/support/kb/74
[23:08:02] Client closed the connection.
[23:08:02] Destination connection error.
I've read the article and it suggested to change the connection to port, or to passive. I've tried both to no avail. My system information:
