Connection was aborted...

Hello everyone,

Firstly let me mention how grateful i am for smartFTP, it's by far the best FTP client around.

Now onto my problem, i'm attempting to download more or less my whole site via FTP client. However, alf way through the download i get:

Does anybody have an idea how to disable this from happening?

Additional info:

I have 10 workers running. kbps/worker = 0.
Also, this is not a problem with my hosting, as i have tried with other websites i own on different hosts (lunarpages for example) and get th same thing. This also occurs on my Apple Laptop

I cannot see a problem in the log. The server disconnects the connection in the browser after a while which is okay.

The log you are looking at doesn't have anything to do with your transfers. The connection the browser uses can be disconnected and your transfers are still processing. To check your transfers take a look at the items in the Transfer Queue (bottom window). I recommend you to take a look at the tutorials to learn more about the transfer queue: https://www.smartftp.com/support/howto

i'm well aware about the transfer queue and what it's used for.

Im trying to download about 2MB worth of files, i can download about 4 or 5 and then the transfer queue will fill up with "Retry at: 18:26:09"...until eventually....
