Upload problems

I am having the same problem. I deleted the copy in the target location and one of my two transfers worked.
However I cannot get the second to work. I tried the same thing but it seemed to transfer but no contents.

there is no entry left in the transfer queue, so I cannot select it and copy the log.

I deleted the entry in the target location. The result is no entry left in the transfer queue, the file name is now in the target location however it has a length of zero.

When I try the transfer again, it adds a duplicate name entry at the target, which also has a zero length. It does not ask me if I want to replace the existing entry (zero length) in the target.

I found when I do a refresh, the zero length entries disappear.

OK I think I found a way to get the transfer que log. I got the entry to show up in the transfer que in a retry status. Here is the log that I got:

Bob: I don't understand what you are doing. The log tells me that the file you are trying to download doesn't exist.

Try to install the latest version from: https://www.smartftp.com/download

Then please try to explain your problem again.

This appears to be specific to this file, .htm

I have tried renaming it and it does not make any difference.

I copied it and it did not make any difference.


I tried copying it to test.bmp to see if it would change the type of transfer and it made no difference.



I also tried transferring it via another FREE FTP software product (I just downloaded) and it worked without problem.

I am having the same issue with JPG files - the program will allow me to upload to two sites, but not the third site, it goes through the motions, shows it was transfered and the file is there, proper name, but 0 bytes..

You guys need to post the log from the transfer queue for us to see what goes wrong.

I figured out my problem. It was due to file size quotas on the server. After I removed some files from the remote server, it now works.
