how to update only if changed?

Hello!
I would like to update the website only for those files that are changed. Is there any functionality in SmartFTP to do this?
Also I would like to update a whole folder (and sub folders) but some files/folders. Is it possible to define a list of what needs to be taken into account?

Just like Windows files, make sure you are listing the details and click on the date link at the top to sort, you can click agaon in it to sort in the other direction.

I am not sure to understand. Want I want is to update a great number of files, but only those that are diffrent. Is there any possibility to do this in Smart FTP ?
