Name too long error

While trying to install a few things onto my server, I have had this error keep poping up and have found no solution to it. This happens when a name that is to long to transfer somehow causes the program to freeze. After this failed attempt, the server cannot be reaccesed untill you restart the program or press reconnect, dissconnect, then reconnect again. Im on winXP wtih smartFTP version 2.5.1008.20. Here is the log that i get.

Thanks ahead of time for responses,

1. Install the latest version from:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

2. Post the system information and the log again.

3. Are you using the Transfer Queue or the direct transfer method? I strongly recommend to use the Transfer Queue only.

Regards,
Mat

Thanks,

There was no solution to this problem other then moving to a different server or a new OS. Reason being that it was an OS limitation in character name length.
