Please help. Where are my directory files?

Any help you can offer I would greatly appreciate it. (Considering purchasing this if I can figure out how it works exactly.)

I am supposedly connected but there are no directory files shown in my remote browswer. The following screenshot illustrates what I am talking about:

Post the complete log of your FTP session.

Thank you for your quick reply. Okay, I thought because my website is hosted that my files would automatically appear. So I have to upload my web page file directory for them to show? Right? (I hope I don't sound like a total idiot btw.
