Can't upload webpages

When I upload a page from my website on to SmartFTP I drag the relevant page/image into ht docs. Today SmartFTP is not responding. I drag the page, but nothing happens and it carries on going ZZZZZZZZZZZZZz! Can anyone help, please? I've searched the forum but can't see an answer to the problem.
