Hi - I am having the same problem as others in a previous post series, which is now closed so I'll try with a new query. Any help would be most appreciated!

Here is the error log (I have tried turning off Firewall etc.)

1. Install the latest version

2. Post the complete log

3. Add SmartFTP to the exceptions in your firewall.

I'm getting the same errors..no idea what to do - have checked firewall and time lenghts etc (using McAfee) - it seemed to work ok yesterday. I only installed the smartftp a couple of days ago.

Its been doing this for hours - no matter what I try and cahnge. Any suggestions ?

Hi, for this too it's server issue, you must speak with your hosting, nothing you can fix on your side.

Yep looks like a server problem:

C:\Users\mb>ftp ftp.myserverworld.net

Hi, remove the :2121 from the hostname, change the port 21 to 2121 on port, for why some fails and others not it's because it's FTP server issue, where the FTP is hosted, no internet provider, and because that fails to all the people, you, mb, and me.

This reaction to thank you for your kind replies.
My problem is resolved when my contact made a new FTP-site (and adress )
Now , I connect without any problem....
