503 Logon Error-Please help

I'm attempting to use SmartFTP to transfer files for my student newspaper to the server that hosts them. However, I'll get the 503 error even though the logon information is correct, stating "Client closed the connection" and it will continue retrying until it tells me "goodbye". I tried to turn off the firewall to see if that did anything, and I got the following log:

[11:39:19] SmartFTP v2.5.1008.9
[11:39:19] Resolving host name "ftp-dom.earthlink.net"

[11:39:56] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
[11:39:57] 221 Goodbye.
[11:39:57] Server closed connection

And continues on...

This is very confusing, as another member of our staff has the same program and logon info as I do, and he can get onto the server, and so can my editor in chief. I seem to be the only one having problems. Any suggestions?

Oh, this is the log if my firewall is on, the top one is with it off:

I also failed to mention that when both Mark and Brad logged into the servers they were on two different computers with firewalls up, and managed to log on. I'm using Brad's computer now to upload files to our website, but this is a grueling progress because we have different class schedules and thus makes it difficult to meet up.

Please, I'd love any and all suggestions. Thus is beginning to frustrate the both of us, we've tried almost everything out there and still no answers.

User reported that she was able to login now.
