Creating New Folders Problem

Hey there,

Been getting this annoying problem when trying to add a new folder. It doesnt matter if i right click and select new folder, pressing the new folder button or press insert. When I select create new folder, the folder shows and I type a name for it but was a hit enter or left click, the folder disappears into nowhere. I dont understand what the problem is. If anyone can give me some insight on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
