smartftp doesn't open properly

I've had this problem on various computers - Smartftp opens to the 'your build is about to expire' window, you click OK, and nothing happens. If you repeat this process about 6 times, it will usually open. Reinstalling / upgrading seems to help but the probelm keeps on recurring. What is going on??

Hello ..

You have to update the software when the expiration dialog is displayed.
