I would like to do a transmission using SmartFTP to a bank on a regular basis.
Here are the banks requirements:
1. It must support Explicit FTPS
2. It must start the encryption with the AUTH TLS command.
3. It must support the presentation of a X.509 digital certificate
4. Must support SSLv3 or higher
5. Must support passive transmission
6. Must support address substitution for passive transmissions
I need to know whether Smartftp meets all of these
For 1: I can set using the right pull down bar on the Address
For 2: I can choose SSL from the Tools settings menu
For 3: I would like some more information, when I get prsented with the certificate from the bank, do I store it in the SSL cert directory? Or how does this work?
For 4: Do I have to set something here, or is this automatic?
For 5: Just press the PASV on the toolbar
For 6: Can anyone give me pointers on how to set this
Thanks so much
Margaret
