Faulty Uploads when overwriting files

hi,

I've noticed that when I'm uploading some HTML and PHP files, they are not transfered accurately. Usually they have stuff missing, which screws up the entire file. The problem does not occur when I delete the file from the server first, and then upload it without overwriting it.

I also noticed that overwriting is a lot faster than uploading files from scratch. I therefore suspect that SmartFTP is maybe trying to only upload what's different in the file or something.

How can I fix this?

Hi, when uploading files to update webpages the right way is to have a favorite with "overwrite" setting on on all uploads.

so how would I do that? Also, currently I'm being asked whether existing files should be overwritten and I always click "Yes, to all". So, how could this fix my problem?
