Restore to Pristine State

I want my group to use SmartFTP. I need to show them in tedious detail how to install and configure it to work with our web site. I tried uninstalling/ reinstalling SmartFTP so that I could record all the configuration steps necessary. I also deleted the "c:\documents and settings\...\SmartFTP" folder after uninstalling. But SmartFTP still does not start up in its virgin state. I searched for Public Support topics with "Registry" but did not find any (or overlooked them). What do I need to do?

What exactly makes you think that SmartFTP doesn't start up in its "virgin state"?
I assume that you have deleted the registry key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SmartFTP

Sorry. I had found an article (Feb 10, 2003, 08:15 pm) that implied that uninstalling SmartFTP removed its registry entries. I have what I need now. Thanks. Case closed.
