Switching on time stamp copying

I attempted to switch on the option to copy time stamps on files. ( I checked the checkbox for "keep file time" in Settings-Transfer-Files-Upload)

I see that copied files have newer time stamps, contrary to what I attempted to do.

What needs to be done to get this working?

HI--this sounds like the problem I'm having. It appears that the time shown for the host is in the zone where it is located. Mine seems to be on GMT as it's always five hours ahead of me. I can set the local time for my own zone, but can't make the host show the file date in my time, which I'd prefer.

This looks to cause a problem with updating files based on a "newer than" rule, since the host time is always newer.

Did you figure out how to work this? I'd appreciate any tips.
