CuteFTP pro import problem

I am currently running CuteFTP Pro 8.0.1 build 08.17.2006.3 and the latest build of SFTP. When I come to import my sm.dat file it tells me Import failed. I do not have CuteFTP set to encrypt the site manager. No other errors are displayed. Any help would be great.
