I cannot delete .iwd files

Hello, i am currently using Smart FTP to manage the files for our Call Of Duty 2 server!
I have put some mods on there that are .iwd files and when i go to delete them it will not allow me to.

It says 450 File/Dir '/public/main/zzz_all_rifles_v1.5.iwd' can't be deleted.

Just shut down the server m8 before you try to delete. Youi will find u can delete then. then just restart server
