Updated to latest version today FXP dead

I just updated to the latest version of smartftp today. i have been using this program privately to FXP for months. now all of a sudden after upgrading the FXP doesnt work. All of the settings are the same. it just refuses to connect. Is there anything that is would have been changed upon upgrading i should be aware of?
