newbie needs help

I need to redirect a link on each of my pages.
The original site was built by somebody else, & I think it was done in Dreamweaver.

Is there a way that a simple newbie can use SmartFTP to update the URL these links lead to, without going to each individual page to do it?

even if the answer is 'No', I'd still like an answer so I can move on.
thanks

Sounds like the answer's going to be 'no'. But if you get yourself a copy of Dreamweaver, or I guess some other decent web development editor, there are usually options for you to change the occurrence of any given text string to a new text string within an entire folder and its subfolders. Dreamweaver 8 does this for sure.
