I've used SmartFTP for my educational needs for many years and have recently updated to 2.0 and it has been working fine. Recently however, when I've tried to upload files to my server from my PC here at the medical school, the system 'locks up', as I don't get the dialogue box for picking the files to upload. When I use the TASK MANAGER in Windows, it states that SMARTFTP is waiting for a command from me, but there is no command box or anything to 'click'. In fact, if I try to click on anything after trying to upload, I just get a "tone" signifying an error.
Any suggestions as to what is wrong?
